Overview
This session is the ideal hands-on preparatory course for prospective vascular surgeons, held in conjunction with the NY Endovascular Summit. Attendees will have ample opportunity for small-group simulator training for hands-on experience with products, hear expert didactic lectures and engage in a fellows Abstract Competition with great prizes for all participants. This well-rounded session is an excellent immersion experience into the world of vascular surgery and is one you won’t want to miss.
Target Audience
The program is intended for:
- Vascular surgery residents or fellows
- Interventional cardiology or interventional radiology fellows who are interested in learning about aortic pathology & want to perform aortic endographs
- Early career vascular surgeons who are a maximum of 3 years out of fellowship
Abstract Competition
The Aortic Bootcamp Session will feature a Resident & Fellows Abstract Competition, where residents and fellows are encouraged to submit a short written abstract highlighting interesting aortic cases and procedures for consideration by the course directors. The top 5 written abstracts will be selected to prepare a digital “poster” abstract and to present on Thursday afternoon during the Aortic Bootcamp. The presentations will be voted on by the panel of faculty judges to win one of our excellent prizes:
